Obama Takes

A blog on how the current administration is focused on taking money from the entrepreneurs and business owners that actually fuel the economy.

The Economy is Sound

Last September, when the economy was far better off than it is today, you heard John McCain proclaim that the U.S. economy was fundamentally sound. The attack began moments later and included Barack Obama mocking the comments and sounding off about McCain being out of touch with America and Main Street. Low and behold, Obama and his team have been making very similar statements beginning last Friday. Romer, Obama’s Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors, was asked by NBC’s David Gregory about the soundness of the economy: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/29705783#29705783 Kudo’s to Gregory in his questioning as he didn’t let her off the hook with vague answers…watch the entire interview to get the full perspective. He uses video of McCain and Obama making similar statements and then flat out asks her about the actual soundness of the economy. Her response, “of course the fundamentals are sound…”. He clearly points out how Obama criticized McCain, yet they are saying something similar even though the economy is far worse today than what it was six months ago. Let’s hope the mainstream media continues to question this administration. Unfortunately, they are about six months too late.
